Due to current restrictions, the Tamar Bridge visitor centre is currently closed. However, to celebrate Plymouth History Festival, the fantastic folks at Bridging the Tamar have found a way for you to see these 19th and 20th century engineering feats up close and from an incredible height.

And now you’ve seen from on top, pop over to their website to explore the walkway underneath the Tamar Bridge (built 1961) on their website, along with a lot more information on the Visitor Centre and bridges.

The visitor centre will be holding talks throughout Plymouth History Festival via Zoom. They’re on Wed 20th, Tues 26th May and Tues 2nd June, all at 11am. Click here to book your place.
